We were called out after reports were received of a swan covered in blood on the towpath not far from Kingston Bridge.

Our rescuers found the swan which was easy to spot following what appears to be an attack from a mink. The wounds were not begin enough to be from the bite of a fox, which usually goes for the neck. The smaller bites are likely to be from a mink, although small there are particularly vicious as will attack animals much larger than they are.
