3rd April 2017 – Byfleet

This unlucky duck landed badly and managed to impale herself on the sharp end of a broken bamboo cane. The team were called out and it took them two days to catch here as even the stick she was carrying about did not slow her down much. Finally using the net gun the team managed to catch her and bring her back to the sanctuary. Fortunately the point was not in deep enough to cause major damage so after a few days treatment she was released back onto the pond she came from.
